Mason’s Place Adoption and Sanctuary
Community Service Program
Animal Rescue Leagues offers community service hours to both junior high and high school students. We share the plight of stray, abandoned and abused animals in our society with the students. This programs gives students the opportunity to volunteer at ARL’s adoption center. The student gets involved not only with the day‐to‐day maintenance of the adoption center but also experience the “how to” hands on care of the animals. By watching our interaction with the animals and with potential adopters the students learn, first hand, about the responsibility of pet ownership. Through this program, the students experience how caring for these animals will teach them attributes and qualities that allow them to be better human being and enrich their lives forever.
